How can I avert Sharpie permanent washing or fading when I wash it?

I got all their autographs on my shirt. This is a 100% cotton gray t-shirt. The Sharpie is black. I'm really paranoid, you wash, because the T-shirt is very precious to me, but I still wear wants! So how can I wash all the Sharpie in perfect condition? Ya I hung on the wall in a poster frame. The shirt is much too precious
